Adrienne Skye Roberts works at the crossroads of art making, curation, education, and social justice organizing. Roberts’ often site-specific and research based practice illuminates themes of identity and place, using personal stories as counter-narratives to dominant histories. Her current creative and political projects are in resistance to the prison industrial complex and are in collaboration with those most directly impacted by incarceration. Roberts is an alumna of the Visual and Critical Studies program at CCA (2009) and was awarded the 2014 VCS Alumni Award by the 2014 thesis cohort.
