Frances Richard is currently editing three books: Joan Jonas Is On Our Minds, a volume of essays commissioned by the Wattis Institute in San Francisco; An “Alette in Oakland” Reader, collecting the proceedings of the 2014 “Alette in Oakland” conference at the Bay Area Public School celebrating the work of Alice Notley; and an as-yet untitled book of essays centered on the site-specific works in The New School Art Collection in New York.

In October, Richard will participate in the Bridge Project 2016: Ten Artists Respond to Locus, organized by Hope Mohr Dance, investigating Trisha Brown’s pathbreaking composition Locus (1975) http://www.hopemohr.org/curating/ . In December, Richard will deliver the 2016 Oppen Memorial Lecture for the SF Poetry Center.
