Justin R. Nagle is an artist and writer currently located in San Francisco. Nagle recently graduated with a BFA and a BA in Visual and Critical Studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Nagle’s work sits at the intersection of queer theory and fat studies, of primary interest is the ways which the body as object and image connotes and reinforces the language of oppression. His work manifests itself in sculptural installation as well as wordy diatribes meant to focus attention on the absurdity of both life and language.
Nagle has exhibited work at Sullivan Galleries and Dfbrl8r Performance galleries and is currently a dual MFA and MA VCS candidate at California College of the Arts.
